Usability problems are often product decision problems

A reminder that many UX issues come from weak sequencing, structure, or product choices rather than missing design polish.

Some usability problems really are interface problems. Many are not. They begin earlier, in the product decision itself: too many branches, unclear tradeoffs, weak defaults, or a workflow that reflects internal complexity more than user intent.

Treating every UX issue like a screen issue usually fixes the symptoms and leaves the cause in place.
